  3. After this, you need to transfer this crumbly mixture into a baking tray that has been greased with butter.
  4. Next, you need to combine eggs, sugar, honey, mango pulp and lime juice in a bowl, and give everything a good mix.
  5. For the last step, you have to transfer the batter into the shells of the tarts, and allow everything to bake for 50 to 55 minutes

Notes:

You need to procure some of the freshest tropical fruits for this recipe so that you extract the best flavors. You can even substitute the mango pulp with a mixed fruit pulp consisting of pineapples, fresh berries and banana. If you have a prominent sweet tooth, then you can choose to add some powdered sugar as garnishing which will make the dessert look pretty, and also give it that extra sweet kick. You can even top the tarts with slices of fresh kiwi or cherries.

S'mores Please Cake

This is sure to bring memories of campfires with families with its combination of classic and familiar flavors with a unique twist. Standing out as one of the most comforting sweet dishes, this recipe proudly holds its own among other party desserts.

Ingredients:

  • 252 gm flour
  • 204 gm sugar
  • 104 gm butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 251 gm chocolate chips
  • 154 gm marshmallows
  • 105 gm crushed digestive biscuits

Method:

  1. To kickstart the process, you first have to let the oven heat to 190°C.
  2. While it is heating, you have to mix together sugar, butter, chocolate chips, eggs, flour and marshmallows.
  3. Next, you need to transfer this beautiful, soft mixture into a baking tray greased with butter.
  4. Before you start to bake it, you should cover the batter with some crushed digestive crackers and let everything bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
  5. Slice your cake into squares or rectangles and serve.

Notes:

You can add a dash of good quality sea salt to bring out the flavors of the s'mores. It is better if there is no added sugar in the chocolates, because you are already going to add sweeteners, and extra sugar in the chocolates may throw off the overall flavor balance of the dessert.

Raspberry Basil Mille-Feuille

This dessert originated in France and instantly became a hit among different classes of French society. While it is easy to make with ingredients available in the supermarket, it can become a truly fancy, exotic dish that will make you stand out with your uniqueness and bursts of flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 255 gm puff pastry
  • 153 gm sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 202 gm raspberries
  • 11g basil leaves
  • 15 ml honey

Method:

  1. You have to first preheat your oven to 200°C.
  2. Next, you need to flatten out the pastry puff by pressing it with your fingers, and after that, you can cut it into any shape you please.
  3. After this, you have to combine together eggs, raspberries, sugar, basil and honey.
  4. Then, it is a matter of adding a fruity layer on top of the layer of pastry and covering the layer of fruits with pastry on top.
  5. You have to then wait for 30 to 35 minutes for it to cook completely, in the oven.

Notes:

For this recipe, you must use freshly plucked raspberries because a lot of this dish’s flavor is dependent on this fruit. You are most likely not going to need any extra sweetener, but are free to garnish it with powdered sugar or maple syrup or honey.
