From an outcast to a hero, drawing attention wherever you go, saving your world and the people in it, is no small feat. But poor Elina can’t catch a break for Barbie’s Fairytopia is a trilogy, and she must save the world once again from the Enchantress’ evil sister, with the super entertaining, babbling little Bibble by her side. So, we handpicked some of the new characters, in the last film, Barbie Fairytopia Magic of the Rainbow, and turned them into sweet desserts!

1. Orange Cake – Sunburst

She’s introduced as a disdainful and snarky fairy who has a snooty attitude toward Elina because she had saved Fairytopia twice, and she assumed Elina would turn out to have a big ego. She would have continued that way had not Laverna kidnapped and taken her place, only for Elina to rescue her later. She’s highly underrated or should we say not much liked Orange cake? We high recommend trying these simple desserts using oranges for yourself! We don’t think she had much of a character development but she does lose her snide side towards the end.

2. Brownie – Linden

He’s the first fairy introduced to Elina and the watchers, who introduces himself as an oread fairy, someone with knowledge of many magical languages. He was interacting with a magical creature called Tumby when Elina was interrupted by her pep talk with Bibble. He sure has a crush on Elina but Laverna called him a “naive little whiffet”, when Elina breaks the toad curse put on her. Naive he might be, but he’s quite wholesome and sweet like a chocolate brownie. In every universe there is a Linden just like we are sure in the world of desserts, brownie desserts always stay steady and is loved by all.

3. Dark Chocolate Pastry – Lumina

The seeing-eye fairy is a weirdo, she calls herself the moon fairy with the ability to see into the future, or she’s perhaps just a doom-and-gloom character. Lumina absolutely spooks out Elina when Bibble kind of barges into her room, with a gloomy forecast for her. Sounds like Professor Trelawney dressed up as a fairy to us. She’s a dark chocolate pastry, which perfectly captures her “heading towards doom” predictions she’s got for Elina. That aside a slice of dark chocolate cake is heavenly and feels out of this thos world, just like how Lumina is dressed in a dreamy moon style with twin blue crescent moon wings, her blue hair and ethereal dress.

4. Kunafa – Glee

A dreamy fairy with an enchanting and friendly aura, she was the second friend Elina made while in the dorms. The fact is cemented when each of their puffball pets, Glee’s Dizzle and Elina’s Bibble become friends courtesy of Bibble’s loose tooth. Glee is not just any Kunafa, she’s a Bird Nest Kunafa, which is as sweet and comely as her. The adornments of nuts make for an elegant appearance just like this fairy with green wings and flower motifs on them.

5. Cupcake – Dizzle

The second puffball to be introduced in the Fairytopia world, Dizzle is a female puffball, who is purple from head to toe. Bibble’s woobly tooth got her all crazy about him and they have been inseparable since, and towards the end of the movie, she gets a wobbly tooth too! She’s as sweet as a cupcake and just like the other puffball, she loves sleeping, having fun and canoodling with her newly found mate, Bibble. What’s more cupcakes are tiny, just like her, and her sweetness perhaps comes from her owner Glee who is equally as sweet.

6. Matcha Cheesecake – Faban

He is a vain apprentice fairy obsessed with his looks, and he assumes Elina wanted his autograph when she was kicked out by Shimmer in Lumina’s room, for unintentionally intruding. He bands with the mean girls Shimmer and Sunburst and keeps putting down Elina with them, because of her fame, rooted in jealousy. But unlike the other two girls, he is not that mean and in the end with the other two lose their venom, he is seen saying a kind word or two to Elina, who again, saves the whole of Fairytopia (oh the irony!). A matcha cheesecake seems a perfect fit for this vainglorious character obsessed with his looks.
