A tiny Townsville riddled with supervillains perhaps it was fat that a professor was trying to “cook” and conjure up the perfect girl, but a chemical X leak and was born the superhero triplets who go around the town, fighting these villains. The sugar, spice and everything nice didn’t mix but went separately into the three girls that defined their personalities. We decided to do a throwback to this nostalgic cartoon and imagine them as cakes, pies and more, which have the most delicious dessert recipes. Read on for the fun!
The unofficial leader of the triplets who's usually in the centre with her long ginger hair, she's basically pink from her eyes to her clothes. So, an attention-grabbing dessert for the leader of the superhero trio – Strawberry Shortcake with its sponge cake layers with a filling of whipped cream and strawberries. It suits her personality perfectly as well, she's headstrong, and fussy but extremely level-headed, making her the most mature one among the three girls. While you can't equate human qualities with a dessert, you've got to agree that a strawberry shortcake is a pleasing sight to the eyes, just like Blossom, who is the “everything nice” among her sisters.
The most visually pleasing cake for the best girl Bubbles who really packs a punch despite how innocent she is in her looks and personality. She's the epitome of “might cry, but can still punch you” and that's perfect because rainbow cakes tend to have a white chocolate drip cascading down their sides. Bubbles is the “sugar” among her sisters bringing joy and laughter to her family and of course, a good dose of getting in touch with your emotions, you'll feel that too when you eat this cake. This cake has the feel of a unicorn cake that looks too beautiful to even cut into and actually eat.
For the unaware, she's the tomboy of the trio, if her eyes and her slight frown didn't give it away. Blossom and her are polar opposites and get into fights quite often and among the sisters, she's the “spice”. She's tough, hot-headed and a total baddie, she has a one-track mind, so, she's a key Lime pie, not everyone likes lemony pies, but those who do, tend to have it as their favourite dessert. Look up the most delicious dessert recipes in the American section, and you’ll find key lime pie sitting right there.
He’s a professor not because he experiments away in his lab, he actually teaches at the Townsville Research Center, taking classes on quantum physics and micro-nuclear fusion. He is the perfect, doting father to the triplet superheroes and is a guiding voice to them. Just like an apple cake that a toddler might love, if that gets you craving do look up apple dessert recipes and bake a cake! He is also a true artist, or rather an inventor, in a way because any intentional discoveries of his never seem to work while the accidents are just fantabulous.
While we never see her face, you'll find half her face smiling away, while the other half hides behind her voluminous ginger hair, on the internet. She is decked in red, wearing a fashionable skirt and blazer with a Black belt cinching her waist. She's the Mayor's secretary and always there for the aged duckling-like mayor clings to her like a pitiful child at times. She's the acting regent and the mayor also believes she's the head of Townsville, dubbing her the “brains behind the man”, a smart move given his general ineptness.
At this point, you might feel pity for this green-faced chimp, because he used to be the professor's pet and also assistant. This genius villain is the number 1 reason the superhero trio fight crimes almost every day of their lives. But he seems happy living his life that way - scheming away to glory. A matcha cheesecake for the smooth villain who is a thorn in the girls’ sides. Pretty sure he felt neglected after the professor was attempting to create the girls. He has the classic first child energy and he ends up looking for family in the villains around him.
An absolute whiner and the lapdog of Miss Bellum, he just sits as the face of the town with his monocle and mayor getup and white moustache that seems like a prop on him. A fruity tart for the little man who seems too cheery for his own good given that villains are wrecking Townsville almost every single day.
This villain comes off as a hermaphrodite or perhaps just non-binary and gives you the creeps with the always smiling face, crab claws and pointy thigh-high black boots. Such an elegant character with a sinister feel can only be a bright red macaron (look up French dessert names). While a macaron might not be evil, it sure is calorific given the ingredients it's made from. And as for this literal devil, he is a sadistic psychopath that all of us would like to hate.
