When it comes to desserts, milk often steals the show, lending that rich and creamy texture we all love. But if you're lactose intolerant, vegan, or simply want to skip dairy, fear not—there are delicious alternatives! Desserts without milk can still hit the sweet spot. The trick? Get creative with substitutes like coconut milk, almond milk, or soy milk. These options bring their own unique flavors and textures, turning your desserts into mouth watering treats.

- In a separate bowl, whisk olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract.
- Now add the flour mixture to the olive oil mixture and mix them well. Gradually add water as required. Make sure that the batter is free of lumps
- Now pour the batter into the cake pan and bake it for 30-35 minutes at 180°C. Once it is done, insert a toothpick into the center of the cake. If it comes clean, the cake is ready.
- Before serving, cool it down at room temperature.
- You can also dust some cocoa powder, matcha powder, or icing sugar on top before serving the cake at high tea.
