Desserts with Cadbury Gems: Ice Cream Cake Baking Recipe, Blondies, and Cookies

Who can forget Cadbury Gems, the tiny and colorful chocolate button candies that were a mainstay in our childhood. These vibrant dots are more than just chocolate. With every bite you experience a burst of color, flavors, and textures. Gems are creamy and chocolatey on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It’s the goodness of Cadbury milk chocolate that really makes these candies indulgent and tasty. You'll go through a pack so quickly because of how satisfying they are.

While being delicious on their own, Cadbury Gems are also a delightful and colorful addition to desserts. Use them to add some crunch to your cakes, cupcakes, cookies or ice creams, or as decorative elements to frosting. Here are some ideas:

  • 1 pack instant chocolate pudding mix

  • Now arrange four pieces of ice cream sandwiches, and spread the chocolate pudding mixed with Gems over this layer.
  • Add four more pieces and spread the chocolate pudding.
  • Then place the remaining four pieces over this and spread the remaining pudding over this.
  • Place the cake in the freezer so that everything solidifies.
  • Once the cake is solid, cover the top and sides with the chocolate fudge and whipping cream mixture.
  • Cover the sides and the top with crushed Gems. Let the cake freeze for a few hours before digging in.

  • 170.25 g butter, softened
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 165 g light brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tbsp vanilla extract
  • 180 g chocolate chips
  • 230 g Cadbury Gems

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 190 C and line your baking tray with some parchment paper.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • Then cream the butter along with granulated and light brown sugar until you get a pale and fluffy mixture.
