Ingredients:

  • 250 gm coconut
  • 200 gm condensed milk
  • 70 gm ghee
  • 2 tsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp saffrons
  • 250 ml cream

Method:

  1. For this quick and easy recipe, you first have to take a medium-sized bowl and in it, mix condensed milk, coconut powder and ghee, and whisk everything well until it gains a smooth texture.
  2. After that, pour the mixture into a pan, and set it on low heat while stirring it continuously so that the mixture starts to thicken.
  3. After about 13 to 15 minutes, you can remove the concoction from the heat, add saffron and cardamom powder, and stir them in well.
  4. Then, you just have to transfer this batter onto a plate that has already been greased with ghee.
  5. Now it is time for you to set it into the refrigerator, but before that, you need to add a generous dollop of heavy cream, and coat the entire batter with it.
  6. After about an hour of chilling in the refrigerator, you can take the dish out, and slice it into any shape of your choice.

Chocolate Motichoor Laddoo

Ingredients:

  • 200 gm gram flour
  • 70 gm Cadbury cocoa powder
  • 100 gm ghee
  • 130 ml vegetable oil (optional)
  • 210 gm sugar
  • 60 ml milk
  • 2 tsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 120 gm sugar
  • 200 ml water

Method:

  1. This recipe will require you to first mix together ghee, gram flour, Cadbury cocoa powder and baking soda in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  2. After that, add milk and sugar to the flour mixture while stirring continuously so that a dough starts to form.
  3. You then have to knead a dough and divide it into several small portions that are about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  4. Next, move on to heating ghee or vegetable oil in a frying pan, and then slowly transfer the dough balls into the pan to deep fry them.
  5. After about 7 to 9 minutes of deep frying, you need to take the Ladoos or balls out of the oil and soak them in sugar syrup for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. In order to make the sugar syrup, you need to mix water with sugar and bring it to a boil until the concoction is slightly sticky.
  7. Once your Ladoos are made, you need to let them cool down to room temperature before serving.

  4. After that, you can take it off the heat and let the mix cool a bit before using a spoon or your palms to make small rounds.
