Fantasy films have long fueled viewers' imaginations with their vividly crafted worlds of magic, adventure and wonder. From Barbie to Hogwarts and beyond, these movies transport audiences to realms beyond our own, kind of like an escape mechanism from adulting every single day.

We think this is perhaps the best pairing for our brand, for fantasy, comes alive with chocolates and anything sweet. Here are some fantasy movies that were a staple for rewatching during our kiddie days. The kids today will also love them, that is only if they can lift their heads up from the hypnotic phones.

1. Barbie’s Marble Cake

Greta Gerwig’s Barbie had mixed reviews, but money talks and so does Barbie who was the best friend of little children, especially girls; the same girls are now adults and as the times go, they are existential. The movie speaks to those women, and low-key also addresses complex themes like patriarchy and men, the Kens and their connection with each other. The ones who grew up with the Mattel doll created by Ruth for her daughter Barbara, for them it's a warm hug. A marbled Barbie cake with pink frosting and sprinkles is the best choice for this film. Barbie grew up, so did her first batch of admirers and owners, and a marbled cake’s 2-in-1 color theme reflects that. Marbled Barbie cakes might look plain, but their mottled appearance (adulthood) can be made more fun with the pink frosting and sprinkles that will delight your inner Barbie, who still exists in you.

2. Everything Everywhere All At Once’s Dark Chocolate Log Cake

The conflicting yet harmonious plot of the movie following Michelle Yeoh’s character, Evelyn, Ke Huy Quan’s Waymond Wang and Stephanie Hsu’s Jobu Tupaki, takes on a lot of themes, entangled and inseparable from each other. Generational curses, family and the character’s different versions existing in multiverses, all stemming from choices made by each family member make the dark chocolate log cake the perfect choice for this film. The hurt and dysfunction is represented by the dark but smooth chocolate cake and the swiss-roll-like interior represents the web of lives and the different entangled realities. The superhero-meets-villain, who tries to rescue the latter resulting in unexpected humorous scenes that are balanced by the overall look of the log cake. We believe it does belong in Willy Wonka’s factory and something he might have invented.

3. The Chronicles of Narnia’s Icebox Cake

One of the most iconic and magical elements of the world of Narnia is the mysterious wardrobe that acts as a portal between our world and the fantastical kingdom. Somewhere, we also escaped with the Pevensie siblings and got invested in the magical world of Narnia. The snow-covered Narnia felt like magic and the movies kept delivering one surprise after the other, and in the same way, cutting into the wardrobe icebox cake creates an element of surprise, each new layer reveals a different flavor experience that transports the eater from one world to the next. The alternating layers of wafers or cookies stand for the wooden wardrobe with its warm interior and the fillings and icing represent the snow in Narnia. Too bad this cake didn’t exist in the books; Edmund might have been able to resist the lure of the Turkish delights and might have just not been the punching bag of the movies. While we can’t and don’t want to change anything, we do hope you will consider a slice or a whole cake for the next screening of one of your fantastic childhood staples, The Chronicles of Narnia.

4. Alice in Wonderland’s Fruity Tartlets

Tim Burton took Lewis Carroll's mad, mad story to new heights of weirdness and wonder in his 2010 blockbuster Alice in Wonderland. Joining forces with acting legends like Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, Burton plunged viewers straight down the rabbit hole into a trippy topsy-turvy world of playing cards, potions, and a tea party that never ends. With wildly imaginative sets and costumes bursting with Burton's signature flair, it's a cinematic feast for the eyes and mind. We feel Fruity Tartlets suit this film’s bizarreness and colorful world quite well. With fruits placed willy-nilly across colorful tart filling like the characters themselves, each bite offers a taste of Wonderland madness.

5. Harry Potter’s Chocolate Cupcakes

We saved the best for the last–the Harry Potter franchise itself! No trip to Hogwarts is complete without indulging in the wizarding world’s signature chocolate. Throughout the movies, we see Harry and his friends enjoying chocolate in all its forms—from Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, to the good old chocolate from Honeydukes. Chocolate cupcakes make the perfect tribute, with a chocolate ganache taking center stage. A rich, fudgy ganache captures the decadent chocolate experience at Hogwarts. With each bite of chocolate ganache, fans will be transported back to the Great Hall feasts, secret passages of Hogwarts, and the adventures we all shared and loved so much.
