  • 2 ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 950 ml vanilla ice cream
  • Optional toppings: caramel sauce, chocolate fudge sauce, whipped cream, cherries

  6. Immediately roll each ice cream ball in the cornflakes, pressing to ensure an even coating.
  7. Place coated ice cream balls in the freezer for 10-15 minutes to firm up.
  8. Before serving, drizzle with your choice of toppings: caramel sauce, chocolate fudge sauce, and/or whipped cream, with a cherry on top.

  3. Whisk in butter until melted and combined. Slowly pour the cream, stirring carefully. It may bubble up. Sprinkle the salt and stir to combine.
  4. Transfer the sauce to a heatpoof jar and cool completely before refrigerating.

(Serves 12)

Ingredients

  • 400 ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 600 whipping cream, chilled
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 gm tutti frutti, (extra 45 gm for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Add the chilled whipping cream and vanilla extract in a large bowl.
  2. Using an electric beater or stand mixer, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. This means the cream will hold its shape when the beater is lifted.
  3. Gently fold the condensed milk into the whipped cream. Be careful not to overmix otherwise the mixture will deflate and will be difficult to work with.
  4. Add the tutti frutti to the bowl, folding gently until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and cover tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
  6. Place the container in the freezer until the ice cream is firm and set for 4-6 hours.
  7. Before serving, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly. Scoop into bowls and sprinkle additional tutti frutti on top for garnish.
