500 gm ricotta cheese
150 gm granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Zest of 1 lemon
50 g all-purpose flour
Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Set the oven's temperature to 160°C (320°F). A 20 cm springform pan should be greased.
Whisk together the ricotta, sugar, eggs, lemon zest, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth. Gently fold in flour until barely incorporated.
After pouring into the pan, bake for 50–60 minutes, or until firm and just beginning to turn golden.
Allow to cool fully before slicing.
