1 cup heavy cream 1 cup cream cheese 2 cups powdered sugar 2 tablespoon instant coffee granules
Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Transfer to a separate bowl.
Whip the cream cheese until softened. Add powdered sugar and mix until light and fluffy. Mix in the instant coffee until completely dissolved and well incorporated. Add ⅓ of the whipped cream and mix well.
Slowly fold in the remaining whipped cream. Spoon or pipe into small serving bowls.
For the best results, this is best to make and serve right away. Since you’re doing a lot of mixing with the heavy whipping cream and other ingredients, once those peaks are formed, it’s best to serve and enjoy. It is ok to make up to 24 hours ahead of time.
Adding shaved chocolate on top of this coffee mousse is never a bad idea. You can also drizzle a little bit of melted milk chocolate on top or even use this mousse as a topping itself to pair with a delicious homemade sponge cake.
