1 cup (225g) unsalted butter
225g Bournville dark chocolate
1 cup (200g) brown sugar
½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
¼ cup (25g) cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup (120ml) caramel sauce
½ tsp vanilla extract
Heat butter and Bournville dark chocolate until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
Whisk brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Once mixed, add in melted chocolate and stir well.
Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
Layer batter and caramel sauce in the lined pan. Top it off with the remaining batter and swirl it with a stick.
Bake at 175°C for 25-30 minutes. Let it cool before slicing into bars and serve with caramel drizzle on top.
