½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
2 tbsp water
¼ cup (60ml) heavy cream (warm)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
A pinch of salt
½ cup (80g) Bournville dark chocolate
½ tsp vanilla extract
Heat sugar and water in a pan on medium heat until sugar dissolves, turn golden, and thickens.
Slowly whisk in warm heavy cream and butter. Stir well until smooth.
Remove the mixture from heat and add chopped Bournville chocolate. Mix until fully melted
Stir in vanilla and salt, then let it cool to thicken. Drizzle it over cakes, brownies, or ice cream and enjoy.
