150g Bournville dark chocolate (chopped)
2 eggs (separated)
200ml heavy cream
2 tbsp sugar (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Use a double boiler or a microwave to melt the Bournville dark chocolate.
Beat the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks and put it aside. Add sugar to the egg whites if desired and beat until stiff peaks form.
After combining the egg yolks and melted chocolate, carefully fold in the egg whites and whipped cream.
Before serving, pour into chilled glasses and let it cool for a minimum of two hours.
