1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
½ cup sour cream (or yogurt)
½ cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 175°C and grease a cake pan of your choice of shape.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one by one and mix. Follow it with vanilla, sour cream, and coffee.
Combine wet and dry ingredients then fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Pour batter into prepared baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool for a few minutes before serving.
