1 cup khoya (mawa)
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp ghee
¼ cup sugar
¼ tsp cardamom powder
¼ cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios, or walnuts)
2 tbsp milk
Roast chopped nuts in 1tbsp of ghee until aromatic and golden.
Heat ghee in a pan and add crumbled khoya, Cook on low heat and stir continuously for 5 minutes. Add condensed milk, cocoa powder, and sugar. Keep stirring on low heat.
Once mixture is thickened, add cardamom powder and roasted nuts. Mix well and add milk to smoothen the texture.
Let mixture cool and shape peda with greased hands. Flatten it slightly and garnish with nuts. Cool in the fridge before serving.
