1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup khoya (milk solids)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp chopped nuts
Oil for frying
1 cup sugar (for syrup)
1/2 cup water (for syrup)
Mix water into flour to form a soft dough
then set aside.
For filling
combine khoya
sugar
cardamom
and nuts.
The dough should be rolled out
cut into little circles
stuffed
folded into a half-moon shape
and sealed around the edges.
Fry in a deep fryer until browned.
After bringing sugar and water to a gentle boil
make a sugar syrup and submerge the fried Chandrakala in it.
After a little soak
serve.
