1 cup sesame seeds (til)
3/4 cup jaggery (grated)
1 tsp ghee (for greasing)
In a skillet, dry toast the sesame seeds until fragrant and gently browned. Put aside.
Melt the jaggery in a skillet over low heat until it becomes syrupy. Mix well after adding the toasted sesame seeds to the melted jaggery.
Spread the mixture evenly after using ghee to grease a level surface. Using a rolling pin lubricated, roll it out.
Once cooled, cut into the desired shapes.
