1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups dark chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 175°C and line two baking sheets.
Cream softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until its fluffy with a hand mixer. Beat in the eggs and add vanilla extract.
In a different bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Add in the dry ingredients and mix on a low speed.
Fold in the dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Scoop the batter onto tray and shape as the desired size you want. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Finish with flaky salt as garnish and serve.
