1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cold butter
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 large eggs
2 cups pecan halves
1 tsp vanilla extract
Combine flour, salt and butter in a bowl, mix well and add ice water to make dough. Roll out the dough and fit into pie pan.
Set the crust in the fridge and meanwhile prepare filling with corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Add halved pecan.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour filling into prepared crust and top with pecans.
Bake the pie for 55 minutes until filling is set and crust is golden. Once done, cool it, slice and serve.
