8 cups popped popcorn
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup light corn syrup
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup dark chocolate
¾ cup milk chocolate
Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir until sugar is melted then cook it without stirring for a few minutes until thick.
Add baking soda and some salt to froth the sauce up into thick and luscious consistency.
Add this caramel sauce into popped popcorn spread out on a lined baking sheet. Toss popcorn until evenly coated. Bake for a few minutes.
Drizzle melted chocolate over caramel popcorn evenly. Add chocolate chips for more flavor. Set in the fridge until solid then break to serve.
