1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Preheat the oven to 175°C or 350°F. Line the baking pan with parchment paper
Melt butter and stir in granulated sugar. Mix well until well combined. Add eggs and mix well until well combined.
Mix the dry ingredients like cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder. Then gradually combine the wet mix with the dry mix.
Fold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips until evenly distributed and pour the batter into the baking pan spreading it evenly
Bake for 25-30 minutes and once done, remove from oven and allow to cool down then slice it into squares and serve
