Khoya (milk solids): 200 g All-purpose flour: 50 g Baking soda: A pinch Saffron strands: Few (soaked in 2 tbsp warm water) Sugar: 150 g Water: 100 ml Cardamom powder: 1/4 tsp Chopped nuts: For garnish Ghee: For frying
Make a soft dough by combining the khoya, flour, and baking soda. Form into doughnuts.
Donuts should be fried in ghee till golden brown.
Boil sugar, water, cardamom, and saffron to make syrup. The warm syrup is used to dip donuts.
Serve with a nut garnish.
