Gluten-Free Banana Cake Recipe Using Cake Mix

Ingredients

1 box gluten-free cake mix
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips

Prepare

Prepare by preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing the two 8-inch round cake pans.

Make cake mix

Mix the gluten-free cake mix, mashed bananas, vegetable oil, water, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir it well to make a smooth mixture.

Pour the batter

Pour the batter into prepared pans and spread evenly.

Bake the cake

Bake for 25-30 minutes and check with a toothpick. Once done, take it out and let come to room temperature slightly.

Garnish

Sprinkle nuts or chocolate chips on top, slice and serve the cake.
