180 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
120 g unsalted butter, softened
200 g granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tbsp cocoa powder
120 ml buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp red food coloring
Cream the butter and sugar together, then add the eggs, flour, cocoa powder, and buttermilk. Mix until the mixture is smooth.
Mix the vanilla extract and red food coloring until the batter becomes a bright crimson.
Fill the loaf pan with the batter, then bake it at 175°C for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool before adding festive sprinkles and cream cheese frosting on top.
