1 cup raisins
2 cups whole milk
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup granulated sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
Soak raisins in luke warm water for 15 minutes. Drian and set aside.
Combine milk and heavy cream in a saucepan with sugar and heat while stirring occasionally.
Mix cornstrarch with 3 tablespoons of cold milk. Add it to heated milk mixture and stir. Cook for 5 minutes on low heat.
Stir in soaked raisins and a pinch of salt. Cook for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool slightly. Serve in bowls.
