1 box vanilla cake mix
3 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
2 cups heavy cream
5 large egg yolks
½+ ¼ cup granulated sugar
Preheat oven and grease cake tins. Prepare the cake mix as per instructions, divide evenly and bake it.
Heat heavy cream. Whisk egg yolks and sugar then add heated cream on it. Heat the mixture again for 5-7 minutes and stir constantly.
Once cake layers and creme are cooled, assemble it layer by layer and chill to set.
Sprinkle granulated sugar evenly on the cake and caramelize it using a blowtorch. Let it harden then slice and serve.
