2 cup rice
1 cup Jaggery
2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
2 tbsp Ghee
½ Cup Water
Oil for frying
Soak rice overnight, drain, and dry then grind to a fine powder with no lumps.
Add water to a pan and mix in jaggery. Simmer until jaggery melts and dissolves. Make consistency slightly thick.
Add rice flour in jaggery syrup on flame and stir to make a sticky dough. Turn the heat off and let it cool.
Shape rice dough into small balls. Sprinkle sesame seeds and press lightly to make them stick. Flatten the balls slightly.
Fry the ariselu in hot oil until golden brown from both sides. Drain oil and serve warm.
