4 cups all-purpose flour
½ + ½ cup sugar
1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
1 cup warm milk
¼ + ½ cup softened butter
1 large egg
Orange zest
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit then add melted butter, egg, orange zest, salt and flour. Mix to make a dough then let rise for 1 hour.
Mix softened butter, sugar, cinnamon, and orange zest in a bowl.
Preheat oven. Roll the dough out and spread the filling. Roll it into a long and slice it into large rounds. Arranage on a greased dish.
Bake the rolls for 30 minutes. Meanwhile prepare glaze with powdered sugar, orange juice and orange zest.
Drizzle the fresh glaze on warm rolls and serve.
