How To Make Malpua: A Delicious Ayodhya Dessert Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup coconut, grated
½ cup sugar
1 cup milk
½ tsp cardamom powder
Ghee for frying
Sugar syrup (1 cup sugar + 1 cup water, boiled until slightly thick)

Make Batter

In a bowl
combine flour
coconut
sugar
and cardamom.
Add the milk gradually to create a smooth batter.

Pour The Mixture

Pour the mixture onto a skillet with heated ghee to make tiny pancakes.

Fry The Pancakes

Fry until both sides turn brown
and then immerse in heated sugar syrup.

Serve

For a wonderful treat
serve it hot.
