1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Red, green, and yellow food coloring
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 175°C. Line muffin tin with cupcake liners.
Cream softened butter and sugar until light. Add eggs, vanilla, and mix. Now add sifted flour, baking powder, and milk and mix well.
Divide batter to three parts. Add green color to one part, and yellow and red to one part. Keep white part as it is.
Carefully pipe the three batter layers into the molds. Start with green, then white and orange. Avoid mixing.
Bake cupcakes for 10-12 minutes. Frost with tricolor buttercream and enjoy.
