500 ml milk
50 g sugar
25 g cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 ripe bananas, sliced
200 g vanilla or butter cookies
250 ml whipped cream
Whisk together the milk, sugar, and cornstarch over medium heat until the mixture thickens. Cool after adding vanilla.
Arrange the custard, banana slices, and cookies in a trifle dish. Continue until the plate is full.
Cover with whipped cream and garnish with banana slices or crushed biscuits.
Before serving, place in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
