1 box yellow or vanilla cake mix (low-sugar or sugar-free version)
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup Greek yoghurt (plain, low-fat)
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped nuts or sugar-free chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350°F or 175°C and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
Blend the wet ingredients like mashed bananas, unsweetened applesauce, Greek yoghurt, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix it well.
Add the cake mix gradually to the wet ingredients and stir until well combined without overmixing.
Add ground cinnamon, chopped nuts and chocolate chips to the batter to enhance the flavour.
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake it for 25-30 minutes. Check by inserting a toothpick and bake until it comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool, take it out on a wire rack, slice and serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
