Make Indian-Style Chocolate Bread Pudding For Yaosang Celebration

Ingredients

4 slices bread
1 cup full-fat milk
½ cup dark chocolate
¼ cup jaggery
½ tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp chopped nuts
1 tbsp ghee

Prepare Bread

Toast bread cubes in ghee to get a crispy texture.

Heat Milk Mixture

Warm milk in saucepan on low heat. Add melted chocolate, jaggery, and cardamom powder. Stir to mix well.

Combine Milk and Bread

Pour chocolate mixture over bread and let soak for 5 minutes. Stir until all cubes are well coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish

Grease a dish with ghee and pour the mixture in. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.

Serve

Top pudding with drizzle or ice cream and serve it warm.
