1/2 cup sabudana
4 cups milk
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
2-3 tablespoons ghee
1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
Rinse sabudana under running water.
Soak sabudana in water for 2-3 hours until it swells and becomes soft.
Drain and keep aside.
Heat ghee in a pan on medium heat and add soaked sabudana.
Saute for a few minutes.
Pour in milk and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer.
Stir and cook until kheer thickens.
Add sugar and mix well.
Cook until sugar dissolves.
Add cardamom powder and mix.
Pour on a serving plate and garnish with chopped nuts.
