4 slices of bread (cut into triangles)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 cups milk
2 tbsp condensed milk
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
A few saffron strands
Ghee for frying
Chopped nuts for garnish
Slices of bread should be fried in hot ghee until they get golden and crisp. Keep them aside.
Concoct sugar and water into a syrup with a single-string consistency by boiling them together.
Get Rabri ready. Add cardamom, saffron, condensed milk, and boil the mixture until it thickens.
Prepare by dipping the fried bread into the sugar syrup and arranging it onto a platter. Transfer the bread to the thickened rabri. Place chopped nuts and saffron on top as a garnish.
