Simple Cake Pop Recipe for Kids and Beginners

Ingredients

1 cake of your favorite flavor
1 can of premade frosting
Candy melts or chocolate for coating
Sprinkles, candy, or other decorations
Lollipop or icecream sticks

Crumble the cake

Begin by crumbling the cake you chose and make it fine and even.

Mix with frosting

Add half of the frosting to the cake crumbles and mix together until it gets a dough-like consistency.

Form cake balls

Make small cake balls with the crumble mixture and you can also add a surprise element in the middle like chocolate or candy.

Chill and Melt the candy coating

Chill the formed balls in the fridge to hold up the shape.
Meanwhile
melt the candy coating.

Insert the sticks and coat

Once cake pops are chilled
insert ice cream sticks or lollipop sticks into them.
After that dip the cake pops into candy coating and decorate with sprinkles or chocolate chips.

Set

Secure prepared cake pops into a sponge unright and let them set in the fridge until firm.
Serve and enjoy.
