150 g all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
100 g unsalted butter, softened
100 g granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
60 ml milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Grease a loaf pan and preheat the oven to 175°C. Make the batter by creaming sugar and butter together, adding eggs and vanilla, and then switching the flour mixture with milk.
Divide the batter in half, then add the chocolate powder to one-half.
To create a marble look, alternate spoonful of chocolate and vanilla batter in the pan, then swirl with a knife.
A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean after 45 to 50 minutes of baking.
To showcase the lovely swirls, allow the cake to cool fully before slicing.
