1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp cornflour
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup water
1 tsp lemon juice
1 cup sugar
A pinch of saffron or food coloring
Ghee for frying
To make a smooth batter
combine flour
cornflour
baking powder
and water.
Take a 30-minute break.
Combine sugar
lemon juice
saffron
and water to make syrup.
Spiral-fry the batter in hot ghee until it becomes crispy.
Serve hot after a quick dip in syrup.
