For Cake Batter
1 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup curd
1/2 cup refined oil
1/2 cup milk
For chocolate ganache
1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
1/2 cup fresh cream
1 tsp. butter
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease and line cake pans. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
Whisk the curd, oil, and milk in another bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and combine well. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
Melt chocolate over steam, add hot cream, and mix well to make ganache. Stir in butter for glossiness. Set aside.
Assemble the cake by layering it with chocolate ganache, and decorate it with embellishments of your choice.
