240 g chopped dark chocolate
3/8 cup sunflower oil
250 g caster sugar
2/3 cup water
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp of salt
Preheat the oven to 320 ºF (160 ºC) and line an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt the dark chocolate and sunflower oil over steam in a heatproof bowl and set aside.
Mix sugar and water and heat until sugar is dissolved fully. Don't let the mixture come to a boil.
Pour the sugar syrup on melted chocolate and whisk until well combined.
Add the flour, cocoa powder and salt to the mix and whisk until well combined to a smooth and thick batter.
Pour the batter into a lined baking pan and bake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven. Take the brownies out on a wire rack and let cool before slicing and serving.
