Disney’s Frozen is one of the most popular movies of all time. Released in 2013, it tells the story of a fearless princess who goes on an epic journey with her team to find her estranged sister and save the kingdom from eternal winter. This classic fairytale has four parts and each of them are super amazing. Besides the kids, even adults loved this classic animated Disney princess movie franchise.

From their costumes to the characters, the fans of Frozen have permanently saved everything in their minds. The popularity of Anna, Elsa and Olaf has made them a well-known part of themed based parties as well. If you are also a die-heart fan of this movie, here are five Frozen-inspired desserts for you:

Snowflake Cupcakes

These gorgeous Frozen-themed cupcakes are perfect for your birthday party or any winter celebrations. Made along with white chocolate chips, sprinkles and blue food coloring, it has a soft texture and delicious taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 6 oz. white chocolate chips
  • Blue Food Coloring

Method

  • Prepare cake batter according to box directions and bake in a cupcake pan using liners. While cupcakes cool, make frosting. Start by beating butter until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar until fully incorporated. Beat in vanilla extract. Pour in milk and beat for an additional 3 minutes.
  • Mix blue food coloring into frosting until desired shade of blue is achieved and keep it aside. Place the snowflake template under parchment paper and tape to a flat surface.
  • Melt chocolate and place into a piping bag using a small round frosting tip. Fill in each snowflake stencil with melted white chocolate.
  • Place snowflakes on parchment paper in the refrigerator until hardened. Frost cupcakes using blue frosting. Remove chocolate snowflakes from the refrigerator and place one snowflake garnish on each cupcake. Enjoy.

White Chocolate Fudge

Fudge is a simple and delicious treat that goes well for every occasion. Made with white chocolate, condensed milk, blue food coloring and vanilla extract, it has a Frozen inspired decoration for the themed-based experience.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • sky blue gel food coloring
  • sprinkles for decoration

Method

  • Line the 8x8 pan with parchment paper and keep it aside. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, heat in 30-second increments, stirring well after each set.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and blue food coloring. Pour into the parchment lined pan, and top with sprinkles.
  • Let it get firm in the refrigerator for one hour and enjoy.

Marshmallows Pops

Easy to prepare, these cute and yummy marshmallow pops are an ideal dessert for your kids Frozen-themed parties. Made with very few ingredients, it is also an ideal choice for your last-minute preparations.

Ingredients

  • 8 regular marshmallows
  • ½ cup blue candy melts
  • ½ cup white candy melts
  • Wilton silver and white crystal sprinkles
  • 8 candy sticks

Method

  • Microwave the blue candy melts, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Set aside and let cool for 25 minutes. While the candy melts are cooling, insert a candy stick in each marshmallow.
  • Dip and roll marshmallows into the melted chocolate covering the marshmallow completely.
  • Sprinkle with white or silver sprinkles and place standing up in a short glass. Repeat with the other three marshmallows. Repeat the same steps until the white candy melts.
  • Once all marshmallows are covered in chocolate and sprinkled let them sit in the fridge for 15-20 minutes to set and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Nutter Butters
  • 1 bag of white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 package of large edible eyeballs
  • 2 boxes of Mike and Ike’s
  • 1 tube of black cookie icing

Method

  • Using a double boiler or the microwave, melt your white chocolate. Cut orange Mike and Ike in half. Save the pointy part of Mike and Ike for the nose later.
  • Once chocolate is melted drop a nutter butter into the melted chocolate. Pick up the cookie and lightly tap the edge on the pot to get the excess chocolate off.
  • Place two eyes in the upper part of the cookie and place the orange Mike and Ike in the middle of the cookie slightly under the eyes.
  • Let the cookie dry for 30 minutes before piping on his mouth, eyebrows and hair. Repeat the same steps with remaining cookies. Let them harden for 1 hour. Serve.

Disney Frozen Cake

Besides Frozen-themed parties, this dessert is also an ideal choice for birthday celebrations. They are elegant in looks and delightful in taste. You can also garnish it with an Elsa and Anna doll. Your kids are surely going to love this cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix
  • Blue food coloring
  • 3 to 4 cups vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped Cream Frosting as per your preference

Method

  • Make a two-layer cake using a boxed white cake mix and a little blue food coloring. Make the cake according to the instructions in the box. Set aside until cooled completely.
  • You will want to place the bottom layer on a cardboard cake disk and level the bottom layer out with a knife. Take the next layer and cut out the center leaving around 2 inches around the perimeter.
  • Fill the center with slightly softened ice cream and wrap the whole cake with plastic wrap. Place in the freezer until ready to serve. When ready to serve use stabilized whipped cream or buttercream to ice the cake with.
