Servings
For the Recipe
- ¼ cup + 3 tbsp of Cadbury Bournville Dark
- 1 tbsp of granola mix
- ½ tsp of desiccated coconut
- 4 tbsp of cubed apple
- 1 tbsp of caramel sauce
Directions
Begin by melting the dark chocolate. While a double boiler is ideal, for this small quantity, the microwave works perfectly. Ensure smooth consistency.
Cut the apple into fine cubes and set them aside.
Evenly spread the melted chocolate on a parchment-lined tray or baking sheet. This is your base for the Sweet Apple Delight.
Sprinkle the granola generously across the chocolate layer, followed by the apple cubes.
Sprinkle desiccated coconut over the granola, chocolate, and apple for a tropical touch.
Drizzle the entire creation with some caramel sauce.
Place the tray in the freezer and let the Sweet Apple Delights set for approximately an hour.
Once set, take the Sweet Apple Delights and break them into rustic pieces. Serve immediately.
Transfer the sheet into a plate for freezing.
Caramel Sauce is optional for garnish, though we highly recommend it.
