For the Recipe
- 3-4 pieces of Cadbury Bournville Dark Chocolate
- 4 pieces Puff pastry sheets
- 1 piece egg slightly beaten
- 2 tsp coffee powder
Directions
Break Bournville chocolate in a ramekin bowl. Melt it in a microwave for 20 seconds while stirring in between.
After chocolate is melted, add instant coffee powder to it and give a good stir. Once mixed, set it aside.
Take a pastry sheet and cut it with the help of cookie cutter. You can choose the Christmas tree shape or any shape you like.
Now add 1 teaspoon of chocolate and coffee mixture to half of the cut-out pastries. Spread it and leave the ends to seal.
Place another cut-out pastry on top of the chocolate-spreaded pastry. Seal the ends properly. Set it aside.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Brush some egg over the puff pastry for a glazed crust & bake in the preheated oven for 6-7 minutes until it is puffed up and golden brown.
Dust some powdered sugar & enjoy.
