Dark Chocolate Tiramisu

Ingredients: 

  • 251 gm Bournville dark chocolate
  • 252 ml coffee
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 121 ml sugar
  • 252 ml mascarpone cheese
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cadbury cocoa powder

Method:

  1. First, you have to melt the Bourneville dark chocolate in your microwave or use a double boiler.
  2. In another bowl, you have to whisk brewed coffee and egg yolks together.
  3. To this mixture, you have to add granulated sugar, and whisk until it dissolves.
  4. Then, you need to fold the melted chocolate into the coffee mixture.
  5. In another bowl, you are going to whip mascarpone cheese until it is smooth.
  6. Then, you have to fold the whipped mascarpone into the chocolate mixture.
  7. Now, it is time for you to spoon the mixture into individual serving cups.
  8. It is important that you let them chill until set.
  9. Before serving, it would be great if you added a dash of confectioners’ sugar on top of them.

Dark Chocolate Truffle Brownies 

Ingredients: 

For the brownies

  • 251 gm Bournville dark chocolate
  • 122 ml butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 121 ml sugar
  • 122 gm flour
  • A pinch of salt

For the truffle balls: 

  • 121 gm dark chocolate
  • 62 ml cream

Method:

  1. First, you have to preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Then, you need to prepare a greased and line it with parchment paper.
  3. Next, combine the Bournville dark chocolate and unsalted butter in a medium bowl, and then melt them using a double boiler.
  4. In another bowl, you have to whisk together eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. You are going to slowly pour the egg mixture into the melted chocolate, and whisk properly until they are incorporated and smooth.
  6. Then, you will stir in flour and salt, until they are combined.
  7. You have to pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for about 25 minutes.
  8. Once it is out of the oven, you need to let it cool completely.
  9. For the truffles, you will have to melt Bournville dark chocolate using the double boiler method.
  10. You can stir in heavy cream until smooth

Ingredients

  • 250 gm Bournville dark chocolate
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 121 ml sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 14 gm sugar

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Next, grease 6 ramekins with butter, and dust them with sugar.
  3. Using the double boiler method, melt the dark chocolate.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar till the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
  5. Next, gradually pour the mixture of egg yolks into the bowl containing the melted chocolate, while you are stirring everything until they are smooth.
  6. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until they stiffen into peaks.
  7. Then, you will fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
  8. Spoon the batter into the prepared ramekins and let them bake for 12-15 minutes.
