1. Zeke’s Creme Brulee

creme-brulee-updated-1

The sweet and charming Zeke is a star baker, creating amazing desserts and sharing them with his friends. He’s kind and as sensitive as he is athletic. The baker had no qualms about sharing his love for desserts with his friends, from cookies to scones and everything else. But the most impressive dessert he makes is the very tricky creme brulee. So take inspiration from Zeke and try to make some creme brulees yourself.

Ingredients:

  • 2 boxes double cream,
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 50 gm golden caster sugar

2. Sharpay’s Microphone

One of the most iconic things about Sharpay is her bedazzled microphone. And here’s your chance to recreate it in an edible way. Start by making a simple chocolate cake, or any other flavor you prefer. Use a cylindrical mold to create long, circular pieces of cake. Cover this with an even layer of frosting and then roll bright pink fondant onto it. Add edible jewels all over this in zigzag lines, alternating with pink and silver lines. Then make cake pops and cover those in fondant too. Add lines so it looks like a microphone and use frosting to place the pops over the handhelds that you’ve made. Make sure the cake pops aren’t too big or they won’t stay on top.

Ingredients

For the chocolate cake:

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 and ¾ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp espresso powder
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup coffee

For the chocolate buttercream:

  • 1 ¼ cups unsalted butter
  • 3 and ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3–5 tbsp heavy cream
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

3. Troy’s Basketball Cookies

Basketball is a big part of the movies, and an instantly recognizable aspect of it too. So bake chocolate cookies, oatmeal cookies or any other cookies of your choice. Then take orange candy melts and microwave them until they’re a smooth liquid. Dunk the cookies in the melted orange and set aside on a tray till it sets. Then, use a piping bag to make lines with black icing to mimic the lines on a basketball. You can add a toy basketball hoop or keychain on your plate when serving, for added effect.

Ingredients for chocolate chip cookies:

  • 1½ cups white sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ⅔ cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

4. HSM Cupcakes

Bake chocolate cupcakes and make red and white frosting. Top some of the cupcakes with red frosting and the other with white, recalling the Wildcat’s jersey colors. Then make fondant coins of the same colors. Place the red coins on the white frosting and the white ones on the red frosting. Use a piping bag to create miniature designs on the coins. Like HSM on some of the coins, add orange and black icing to make a few coins look like basketballs, add mini microphones to others, and add the symbol of pi to other coins. These themed cupcakes are sure to take your guests back to the films’ magic and give them cause for celebration.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
