Mickey Mouse Club House Characters as cakes and desserts

“Meeska, Mooska Mickey Mouse”, chants Mickey Mouse as he breaks the fourth wall in a true Dora the Explorer style, asking the watchers to join him. That does the trick as the central plot pops up from the ground a.k.a the clubhouse with its many fun areas and tools. We are on a quest to have some fun with Mickey and his friend by imagining them as sweets and desserts matching their traits and their appearances, mostly, to them.

1. Red Velvet Cupcake – Mickey Mouse

The classic mouse that led to the birth of Disney, Mickey’s all about that classic charm with a cheerful disposition. In the Mickey House Club House cartoon, however, he takes on a Dora the Explorer role going on adventures with his fellow pals. For the classic character, what could be more classic than a red velvet cupcake? What’s more, it's red like his shorts, velvety smooth like his voice, and topped with a swirl of cream cheese frosting that's as iconic as his ears and white like his pant buttons. Plus, let’s be honest, Mickey's been around since 1928, so, he's basically the red velvet of cartoon characters: timeless, beloved, and always a crowd-pleaser.

2. White chocolate mousse – Donald Duck

The hot-headed drake with the speech impediment needs no introduction and why he wears a sailor’s uniform minus the pants will forever remain a mystery. Donald’s temper might be hot,  but this dessert is cool as a cucumber... or should we say, cool as the water of a duck pond? The white chocolate mousse matches his feathers, and the mousse’s light, airy nature is the complete opposite of Donald’s weighty personality. It’s smooth and sweet, everything Donald aspires to be but rarely becomes. And let’s face it, after one of his signature tantrums, he could use something to chill out. Well, isn't this just a perfectly quacking match?

3. Peanut butter cookie – Pluto

Mickey’s dog, Pluto, needs no introduction, and for this sand-colored character, we’ve got him a sweet treat to match his doggie self. He’s a peanut butter cookie, which uses plenty of nut butter that gets canines crazy. That makes it the ultimate canine confection – because let's face it, what dog doesn’t go nuts for peanut butter? It's the same shade as Pluto’s fur, a little rough around the edges like his personality, and as satisfying as scratching off fleas, is to him. Plus, it’s like a mini frisbee imagine Mickey or Minnie or any of the others throwing out the cookie in the air, and Pluto rushing to grab the treat.

4. Donut – Goofy

There’s Pluto on one side who goes bow-wow, and there’s Goofy on the other end who can speak. Both are dogs, make that make sense. Anyhoo, Goofy sure lives up to his name and is a humble character with seemingly zero vices and Goofy’s got himself a dessert that's as perfectly round as his nose and as hole-y as his logic. The donut is the epitome of Goofy – it comes in all sorts of flavors and colors, just like his presence is as entertaining. It can be a bit messy to eat, which suits Goofy’s clumsy nature to a T, and the odd dance he does at the end of the credit roll scene in the cartoon. And let's not forget, donuts are often associated with cops, which is hilarious given Goofy's tendency to bend the rules of physics.

5. Oreo Cake – Daisy Duck

Daisy is the dolled-up girl duck even in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse world and lives up to

Name. She sports a bow, a gold bangle, a top, and of course like Donald she too is sans pants. An Oreo cake is as layered as Daisy’s personality – sweet and a little bit sassy and like Daisy herself, the Oreos have a soft center surrounded by a crunchy exterior. The white part of the cake matches her feathers and the black, her impeccable style and confidence. It’s a no-bake cake, perfect for the cool duck who’s too busy being fabulous all the time.

6. Strawberry cheesecake – Minnie Mouse

“Oh my!” is what Minnie Mouse is heard saying a lot, like a mini catchphrase of sorts. If Daisy was the center of attention, she’s the shyer, understated girl on the show. For the homely Minnie, she is perfect as a strawberry cheesecake, a dessert that’s as sweet as her giggle and as pink as her bow. This strawberry cheesecake is the perfect mix of classy and cute, just like our favorite mouse lady. The graham cracker crust is as dependable as Minnie herself, while the creamy filling is as smooth as her charm. And those strawberries on top? They’re almost as pink as her polka-dot dress.

7. Fruity cake pop – Toodles

Almost always ending with the little mickey headed gadget, Toodles was a fun little thing summoned by Mickey and co to solve puzzles and return to its home by the end of the show. A fruity cake pop is perfect for the little tool who seems almost alive, and the dessert is as handy and bite-sized as Toodles himself. Cake pops, including the one using fruits, come in a variety of flavors and colors, perfect for a character who’s always ready with just the right tool for the job. Besides that, this little ball of joy is as round as Toodles, and is portable, almost floating like how Toofles floats in the air when summoned.
