DIY Candied Almond Recipe
Ingredients:
- 450 grams of raw almonds
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Using parchment paper, line a baking sheet.
- On the prepared baking sheet, equally distribute the raw almonds.
- Whisk the egg white in a large mixing bowl until it is foamy and has soft peaks.
- Fold the vanilla extract into the foamy egg-white mixture gently.
- Add the raw almonds to the egg white mixture, coating them thoroughly.
- Combine the granulated sugar, sea salt, and ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the almonds and toss until evenly covered.
