Caramelized Pear Dessert

You can easily make this tart with other fall fruits like peaches, plums or apples. You can also make a cherry sauce to go on top, just to complement the tart notes of the fruit. You can zhuzz the dish up more by grating lemon zest into the fresh cream, or decorating it with slices of fresh pear.

These desserts, especially during fall, can work well with hot and spiced drinks. For the cinnamon roll cake, you can try apple cider or coffee as a combination. On the other hand, a glass of cold milk or hot tea will balance the sweetness of the pear tart.

You can try muscovado or turbinado sugars for entirely different flavour dimensions in your baked products. Most pro bakers aren't afraid of going the extra mile because they have mastered the trick of using a little powdered sugar on top or sprinkling some cinnamon on dishes, and making ordinary desserts go from regular to fancy.
