Berry-Packed Sweet Crepes

Berry-Packed Sweet Crepes

Enjoy a splash of berry goodness in every bite of your morning breakfast or evening snacks. This crepe recipe is perfect to be packed in your child's school tiffin. These crepes are easy to whip up and fun to eat—and even adults love them! Complement this fruity recipe with a chocolatey Oreo Shake.

Ingredients you’ll want:

  • 125 gm all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 300 ml milk
  • 30 gm melted butter
  • 30 gm sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 60 ml berry puree
  • Whipped cream, if you’re feeling indulgent

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Start by tossing the flour, sugar, and salt into a mixing bowl. Give them a little stir to combine.
  2. In another bowl, whisk those eggs until they’re all mixed up. Add in the milk, melted butter, and your berry puree. This is where the flavor party begins!
  3. Gradually pour that vibrant mixture into the flour mix while whisking vigorously. Keep going until it’s smooth—no lumps allowed!
  4.  Let that batter chill for about 30 minutes. It’s worth the wait because you need the flour to absorb the water. It will make your crepe easy to lift off the pan.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a smidge of butter to grease things up. Now, pour in a ladle of that batter and swirl it around to coat the pan evenly.
  6. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges are just starting to lift and get a nice golden hue. Flip it over and give it another minute to brown on the other side.
  7. Stack your crepes on a plate and give them a little extra berry puree drizzle on top for good measure. If you’re in the mood, throw on some whipped cream and whole berries for a cute presentation.
