- A pinch of saffron strands
- 1 tsp rose water
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- 8 cashews or almonds

- Trim the crusts of the white bread and toast them until golden brown in an oven or air fryer. You want the bread to be crisp.

- Arrange all the fried slices of bread in another pan and pour the sugar syrup over them.
- Immediately add the evaporated milk over this.
- Put this pan over the stove and let it cook for about 2 to 3 minutes on medium heat.
- Continue cooking until you see no traces of the evaporated milk in this pan.
- Let the soaked bread rest in the saucepan for about 10 minutes before serving with a topping of dried fruits and nuts.
